Staff and students at a university have been warned about a rise in mumps cases.
The University of Kent in Canterbury has been told by Public Health England about an increase in suspected cases of mumps at the campus.
Mumps is a contagious viral infection, the symptoms of which usually resolve within one or two weeks - but there can be complications.
Students have been told to contact their GP if they think they have mumps or would like to enquire about being vaccinated.
