A lorry rolled off the road and onto its side following a three-vehicle smash along a country road.
The HGV was travelling along the A260 towards Canterbury when it collided with a hatchback at Selsted.
The lorry and a Vauxhall Zafira - which was travelling in the opposite direction - both careered off the road, but the hatchback drove off.
Emergency crews closed off the road while the HGV and the Zafira are recovered.
The closure is likely to remain in place for a few hours as a crane will be needed to lift the lorry.
Diversions are in place.
Police have spoken to a number of witnesses and are investigating the circumstances of the crash, which happened shortly before 10am.
There are no reported injuries.
