Road closed by copper spill

The A299 Thanet Way at Brenley Corner was closed early on Saturday after a lorry carrying tons of copper overturned on the roundabout and shed its load.

The coastbound carriageway remained partially closed for the remainder of the day while the material and vehicle were recovered.
