Action from last year’s Canterbury 10-mile race
Hundreds of runners are in the final stages of preparation for this year’s Barretts Canterbury 10.
The 10-mile road race is a fixture in the county’s athletics calendar and attracted more than 750 participants last year.
The race will start from Chaucer Technology School, Canterbury, at 11am on Sunday, January 31, and the course winds out to local villages before returning to finish in the city.
Entry forms are available from www.invictaeastkentac.org.uk with advanced entries £12 for affiliated runners and £14 for unattached athletes.
Entries will be taken on the day and cost £16.
Essex’s Adrian Musset of Colchester Harriers won last year’s race in 52:31 while Helen Decker of Ipswich Jaffa RC took the women’s title in 1:00:23.
