A Tory MP who hit the headlines after slipping rude words into a parliamentary debate for a dare has been added to the line-up for BBC's Question Time in Canterbury.
Penny Mordaunt, who represents Portsmouth North, will join a high-profile panel including comedian Russell Brand and Ukip leader and prospective Thanet South MP Nigel Farage when the programme is filmed on Thursday.
Ms Mordaunt found herself on the front page of the Mail on Sunday after it was revealed she had slipped words including 'cock' into a debate as part of a dare with Royal Marines training officers in her constituency.
The other names on the panel are Mary Creagh - Labour MP for Wakefield - and Camilla Cavendish, an associate editor of The Times.
All eyes are likely to be on Russell Brand and Nigel Farage, who have both dominated the headlines in recent weeks.
David Dimbleby will chair the debate between the firebrands, which will be broadcast on BBC1.
Russell Brand recently hit the headlines when he was challenged by a Channel 4 reporter during an anti-poverty parade about how much his London home is worth.
A visibly flustered Brand called the reporter “a snide” who was undermining his efforts.
Mr Farage, meanwhile, has dominated the political landscape followign by-election victories for Ukip in Clacton and Rochester/Strood.
