A school has issued a warning to parents after a boy was allegedly pestered for information by a suspicious man at a bus station.
Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys says a pupil was yesterday approached by a man of "Middle-Eastern appearance" at Canterbury's bus terminal.
An email sent out by the school says the unknown man was "asking him lots of questions and trying to get information from him, as well as wanting to follow him on social media".
After being approached, the boy went to the bus station office to seek help, before police were alerted.
The school's email sent to parents, which is titled 'BE AWARE', says: "Please ask your child to be extra vigilant at this time.
"If anything similar has happened to him or her please let us know so that we can coordinate with the police."
Police have been approached for further details.
