A furious mother has slammed teachers at Herne Bay High School after her son was kicked out of class because of his haircut.
Dominik Pinnock, 14, was put in isolation from other pupils after he turned up for lessons with a series of lines shaved into his head.
His mother Sally Pepper, 36, of Greenhill Road, has kept her son (pictured right) off school since "so he doesn't get grief" from other pupils.
The school has told Miss Pepper her son, who suffers from behavioural difficulties, must return - but he will be kept out of class unless he has a grade one haircut all over.
Miss Pepper said: "It is not affecting anyone’s'learning with him having these lines in his hair.
"I don't see why it's such a problem? The school has got it in for him because he is naughty with his condition.
"I don't know why I should fork out another £20 to get his hair done. People go there with piercings on their face and different coloured hair.
"One of the teachers has got coloured hair, so what difference does it make that he has got lines on his head?
"Dominik is very frustrated because he does not like missing school. He likes routine. He can be angry all the time. His attendance was 100%.
"They said if he does not get it cut or gets it done again, he will have to change school."

Principal Dr Claire Owen said: "We have a very clear uniform policy that parents and children sign up to when they join our school.
"We are unable to comment on individual students' circumstances."
