Search for motorist who collided with pedestrian

KENT Police are appealing for information about the driver of a car who drove off after being in collision with a pedestrian.

The incident happened at the junction of Military Road and Chaucer Road in Canterbury at about 10am on Saturday.

The 34-year-old male pedestrian suffered a head injury and was taken to the QEQM Hospital at Margate. He was released after treatment.

Police officers searched the area but could not find the vehicle, believed to be a black Audi 4x4.
