The 18-year-old woman who died in a car crash early on Sunday morning has been named as former Canterbury College student Emily Laker.
Tributes have poured in following the accident in Shalloak Road, Canterbury on Sunday morning which also left the 18-year-old driver seriously injured.
Miss Laker, whose boyfriend Mentesh Da Silva was driving the Renault Clio, was pronounced dead at the scene following the smash which happened at around 12.20am.
She had completed a business studies course at college and was said to be working at the Tylers Kiln pub in Tyler Hill while considering her future.
She had two sisters and lived with her mother in Sturry. Her father lives in Tankerton.
Numerous bunches of flowers with messages of sympathy have been left at the scene for the teenager who grew up in Chilham as a child and had many friends.
Mr Da Silva, was taken to a London hospital where is condition remains serious but stable.
A third man in the car suffered minor injuries.
Fire crews were called to the scene to free them from the wreckage.
The road was closed for about eight hours following the accident.
