Shocking dashcam footage has captured the moment youths hitch a ride on the back of a truck.

The video was caught by an astonished motorist in St Dunstans Street, Canterbury, yesterday at 3.47pm.

One lad can be seen jumping on the back of a truck as it approaches the roundabout near Sainsbury's.

He soon jumps off before alighting again with one of his pals as the vehicle drives off.

The driver who captured the footage - who did not want to be named - can be heard beeping and shouts: "What are you doing?"
