Single sculls triumph for Houghton

FORMER Canterbury King’s School student Frances Houghton won the women’s single sculls for Britain at the Wedau regatta in Duisburg, Germany.

She clocked 7min 32.92sec for the 2000m race, beating France’s Caroline Delas by more than five seconds.
