Hannah Lee has always been comfortable with her size.
Now the Kent woman is proving the point by becoming part of singing group Plus, which aims to take on the music industry’s discrimination against large women.
At size 16, Hannah, a former pupil of St Anselm’s School, Cantebrury, who works in banking in the City, said: “The group is aiming to challenge the music industry’s portrayal of performers as slim.
“I’ve always been comfortable with my size. The average size for women in the country is a size 16 so the group is about using normal sized girls.”
