A student has been hit by a bus at the University of Kent's Canterbury campus.

Student newspaper InQuire has reported that the woman was hit as the bus was leaving Keynes bus stop in University Road.

The police have confirmed the accident, and an ambulance was called to the campus.

According to reports on InQuire, the student was conscious but dazed and surrounded by fellow students.

Campus security assisted with the incident.
