Traffic backed up after three cars collided in Sturry Road, Canterbury today.
The pile-up happened near the park and ride site on the busy route into the city just after 11.30am.
Police and ambulance crews were called, and were still on the scene an hour later.
No one is thought to have been seriously hurt in the smash, but paramedics checked over the people involved.
The three cars sustained minor damage and were moved to the side of the road to allow traffic to get past.
But there were still tailbacks, made worse by temporary traffic lights where gasworks are being carried out near the Southern Water sewage plant.
