A 19-year-old has been charged with a number of driving offences after a lengthy police chase across east Kent.
At about 2.50pm on Wednesday, a driver failed to stop their vehicle when asked to do so by officers in the Park Farm Road area of Folkestone.
The vehicle was pursued by police, and was eventually brought to a dramatic halt in Vauxhall Road, Canterbury.
Three people - two men and a woman - were taken into custody for driving and drug offences.
Today, police have confirmed 19-year-old Charlie Kelly has since been charged with dangerous driving, driving without insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and possession of cannabis.
Mr Kelly, of Kemsing Gardens in Canterbury, is also charged with receiving a stolen scooter on July 20.
He appeared before Folkestone Magistrates' Court on Friday and was bailed to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on a date that is yet to be arranged.
A 22-year-old man and an 19-year-old woman who were arrested as part of the investigation have both been released without charge.
