An investigation is under way after a teenage boy was chased before being ‘punched and robbed’ by a group of five people.
The incident happened in Canterbury city centre on Monday, September 4 just before 1.30pm.
The victim has told officers he was chased in Rose Lane by the group, who were also teenagers, before being punched by the offenders.
His bank card was then allegedly stolen from him and money was subsequently reported missing from his bank account.
Detectives are investigating the robbery and are appealing for anyone who witnessed it, or has information or CCTV footage which might assist, to contact them.
