A teenager was punched in the face during a terrifying attack.

The assault happened in near Tesco Express in New Dover Road, Canterbury, at about 10pm last night.

It is reported the victim was punched in the face by the thug before the attacker fled the scene.

Police have confirmed they are investigating the shocking incident.
