A YOUNG man was kicked about the head by a group of men late at night in a public park.
The 18-year-old victim had been out with friends but became separated from them and ended up walking alone through Dane John Gardens at Canterbury.
Suddenly he encountered a man who was shouting in a foreign language to some other people. The man then gave the young man a “bear hug”, wrapping his arms around him.
As this happening two men came up behind them and started hitting the young man about the back of the head.
The first man then threw the victim to the ground and all three started kicking him about the head. The victim suffered slight injuries and was later picked up by his girlfriend.
One of the thugs is described as 5ft 10in tall, of broad build, with dark brown, short spiky hair. He wore a yellow and green stripy top and light blue trousers.
The incident unfolded between 11pm and midnight on Saturday, October 28. The victim lives in the Canterbury area.
