An equestrian accident on a farm in Aylesham left a teenager needing hospital treatment.

The air ambulance was called at 6pm but was not used.

The teenager, whose exact age is not known, was looked after at the scene by a doctor and paramedics.

She was then taken to accident and emergency for further treatment, but is understood her injuries are not life threatening.
