Actors Timothy West and his wife Prunella Scales are patrons of the new Marlowe Theatre project.

The pair came down to Canterbury on Friday to lend their support and have a tour of the old building before it closes in March.

Reporter Sian Napier spoke to the much-loved showbiz couple in the Marlowe where they told her how excited they were about the redevelopment.
