Police appeal for witnesses after assault in Wincheap, Canterbury

Three people have been arrested after a man in his 20s was allegedly attacked in an alleyway.

The man was reportedly assaulted in an alley off Gordon Road in Wincheap, Canterbury , between 6am and 7am last Saturday.

He was taken to hospital with facial injuries and has since been discharged.

Three people - a 33-year-old man, a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, all from the Canterbury area - were arrested in connection with the investigation and have all since been bailed until November 7.

Detectives are now investigating the incident.
