An arsonist is believed to have started a fire which destroyed three horse boxes and damaged a car at a riding stables in Waltham in the early hours of Thursday, July 1.

Four fire crews fought the blaze at Nightingale Farm in Whiteacre Lane which was reported at 4.40am. A trailer was also stolen from the farm during the incident.

Police conducted an extensive search of the area shortly after but could not find the offenders.
