Time is running out to sign up for the first ever zip wire challenge to be staged in Canterbury’s Dane John Gardens.
Lord Mayor Cllr Carolyn Parry is urging people to take part in the challenge on Saturday, October 18.
Participants will whizz down a 100ft cable from the top of the ancient burial mound to the edge of the gardens.
To take part in the challenge you must pledge to raise a minimum of £75. Seventy per cent of proceeds wil go to the Lady Mayoress's Charity Appeal and 30 per cent to the children’s road safety charity Kent Walking Bus.
