Masterchef star Gregg Wallace was clocked at more than 30mph above the speed limit as he raced along the A249 in his £50,000 Jaguar.
This speed camera shot shows the 47-year-old whizzing through Detling at 82mph on a 50mph stretch of the road.
The former fruit and vegetable seller, of Foxdene Road, Seasalter, admitted speeding on Sunday, April 22.
Maidstone magistrates heard the TV star's offence was recorded by a safety camera van.
Wallace did not attend court but was fined £1,330, given six penalty points on his licence and ordered to pay £85 costs.
Kent & Medway Safety Camera Partnership spokesman Katherine Barrett said: "Safety cameras operate at sites where people have been killed or seriously injured.
"On this stretch of road from Maidstone towards the County Showground there were eight people killed or seriously injured within the signed camera area before the site was installed and two people in the last three years.
"We do not want to catch people speeding, we would like them to drive within the speed limits to reduce the number of crashes and casualties.
"We offer speed awareness courses to drivers who are within a certain threshold, however, excessive speed cases such as this are referred to court."
