A driver has been taken to hospital after a two-car crash on the London-bound carriageway of the A2.

Police were called to the collision involving a Ford Focus and Ford S-Max near Gate Services in Dunkirk at 11.30am.

No injuries were reported but the driver of the S-Max was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The road reopened at 1pm.
