A dance and fitness instructor had the birthday of a lifetime when her favourite singer was flown in to perform for her.
Katie Teague, from Canterbury, was celebrating her 26th birthday at Paper Nightclub in Regent Street when US star Usher sang for her and presented her with a cake.
He had been flown in by her multi-millionaire boyfriend Andrew Michael, who made his money setting up a website and email service for small businesses and is thought to be worth about £70million.
Katie, who went to Chaucer Technology School but is now based in London, was also given the opportunity to show off some of her moves with the R’n’B performer and actor.
She said: “He got me up on the tables and danced with me. It was incredible, I couldn’t believe there was my hero dancing with me.
“It was absolutely amazing - the best night of my life.”
Afterwards, Usher stayed and mingled with the guests, inviting Katie and Andrew to his concert at the O2 Indigo.
She added: “He was so nice and got involved. Everyone had such an amazing night.”
The club gave Katie a DVD of the evening, which she has been watching everyday since.
Andrew was listed at 10th place on The Times under thirties rich list last month and is about to launch a new company where people can store files and photos online called Livedrive.
Katie met him through a colleague and they have been together for about seven months.
