Police car filmed driving around Canterbury without its lights on

A police car has been filmed driving around Canterbury without its lights on.

Eagle-eyed Daniel Beckett captured the footage on his dash cam on Monday and uploaded the video to Facebook.

The driver of the police car only turns his lights on once a man on a motorbike catches his attention.

Kent Police district commander for Canterbury, Chief Inspector Mitchell Fox, said: "Road safety is a priority in order to protect people from harm and we are grateful to the member of the public who has highlighted this to us and we will ensure the driver is reminded of the need to switch the lights on in their vehicle."
