THE cast of this year’s Marlowe pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, switched on Canterbury city centre’s Christmas lights on Thursday.
Emma Barton (formerly Honey Mitchell in Eastenders), Stephen Mulhern from ITV2’s Britain’s Got More Talent and all the seven dwarfs were on stage in the Longmarket to help with the countdown.
See our video of the switch-on above.
There was also live music from local bands Electric River and Billy Wears Dresses, before and after the switch-on, while kmfm DJ Johnny Lewis kept the crowds entertained, handing out prizes donated by city centre shops.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs opens on Saturday November 29, tickets are available at the Marlowe box office in person, on the phone at 01227 787787, or online at www.marlowetheatre.com
