A man has suffered a broken jaw after being attacked in Canterbury.
The victim, who is in his 20s, was assaulted in the early hours between Eliot Footpath and St Michael's Road near the University of Kent campus.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The attack happened between 3am and 3.45am on Saturday, April 1 but an appeal for witnesses has only just been released by police.
Detective Constable Kirsty Martin said: "We have made a number of inquiries following this incident and believe there were a lot of people in that area at that time who might have information vital to this investigation.
"We would ask any witnesses, who we haven’t already spoken to, to come forward with information."
