X Factor winner Dalton Harris has some strong competition for the coveted Christmas No.1 spot - from Kent's very own Basil Brush.
The furry fox, co-created by former Canterbury puppeteer Peter Firmin, has teamed up with a children's hospice for his own charity version of Bing Crosby's White Christmas
Now available on iTunes, his rendition of Bing Crosby's White Christmas will raise funds for the Shooting Star Chase charity.

Created in 1963, Basil Brush was just one of many classic puppets to be designed by Peter Firmin during his illustrious career.
The popular model-maker, who lived in Blean, helped create Bagpuss and the Clangers.
He died earlier this year at the age of 89.
