Teenager arrested at Primark in Canterbury following disturbance

A 16-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and possessing an offensive weapon after a disturbance at Primark.

The teenager was detained by police at about 8pm last night following a report of theft and threatening behaviour in the Canterbury city centre store.

The weapon - a glass bottle - was taken from the scene.
