Lottery officials were yesterday still waiting to receive a claim for a £1.5m win on the Lotto from a punter in Kent.
The mystery winner of a lottery ticket bought somewhere in Swale had until April 30 to register their claim. Otherwise the money goes to charity
Lottery chiefs have been appealing for the owner of the ticket to come forward since it matched all six balls on November 1.
But the rules state winners must claim their prize within six months.
The six lucky numbers were: 18, 19, 25, 30, 33 and 43.
A spokesman said: “We would advise everyone who plays the Lottery to check their pockets, their wallets and down the back of the sofa. “A Swale resident has a fortune waiting for them. If the ticket has slipped down the back of the settee they could be quite literally sitting on it.
“We have the Champagne on ice and our fingers are crossed that whoever has won comes forward. The sooner they do so, the sooner they can start enjoying their new-found fortune.”
