There's a lot of doom and gloom surrounding the UK's pending exit from the EU.
Brexit is reported to be creating uncertainty for business, could cause a lack of medicine supplies and drivers could face even more traffic chaos.
But one eight-year-old in Canterbury has raised the most important issue of all - Christmas.
Rosie Duffield, Labour MP for Canterbury, tweeted a picture of a letter written by one of her constituents.
It read: "My name is Ruby aged 8. I want to ask a question involving Brexit. I think Teresa May [sic] didn't think this through before making this decision.
"I am worried that Santa Claus won't be able to get in easily.
"Please may you make a clause in the Brexit agreement to allow Santa into the UK because he is not a UK citizen.
" Please call this the Santa Claus, thank you very much."
The MP, who won her seat in 2017, retweeted the picture, tagging Theresa May with the caption: "Dear @Theresa_may - I didn't have a question at PMQs today, but my 8-year-old constituent has a very valid question (pictured here in her letter) about Santa and Freedom of Movement."
Several people on the social media site loved the picture, with @Bridgeanne tweeting: "That's brilliant!" while others were less charmed by the post.
User @BarberRichardp commented: " Rosie, bringing 8 year olds into politics is pathetic. Do you want my 7 year old to write to you telling you how he wants Brexit to happen?! We deserve so much better in Whitstable."
