Two goals early in the second half sent Ryman League Division 1 South Whitstable sliding to their second heavy home defeat of the season.

Boss Mark Munday, pictured, and his side were beaten 5-0 at Belmont by Croydon Athletic last month, but they were still in Saturday's game at half-time after trailing 1-0 after a Gerry Gonella goal.

But then Luke Hickie and Ryan James made it 3-0 within three minutes of the restart, and Gonella added his second before Dan Dolton scored a late consolation for the Oystermen.

This Saturday Whitstable host Ryman League Premier Division side Carshalton in the FA Cup first qualifying round.
