A thug who kicked a dad to death in a vicious gang attack has bragged on Facebook how he kills people “for fun”.
Remorseless Curtis Delima, 22, is serving life for the murder of Whitstable builder Mark Witherall.
But after gaining internet access behind bars, he sneered on his Facebook page: “I’m Curtis Delima, who cares? I kill people for fun. Look it up.”
Delima, Mark Elliott, 24, and Gerry Cusden, 21, attacked dad-of-three Witherall “like a pack of hyenas” after he caught them burgling his house in King Edward Street, Whitstable, in January 2007.
The 47-year-old suffered massive internal injuries and died in hospital five weeks after the drink and drug-fuelled attack.
Delima was sentenced to life in prison and ordered to serve a minimum term of 20 years.
His Facebook page has now been taken down, but Whitstable MP Julian Brazier says it’s not enough.
He said: “The actions of this man are absolutely disgraceful and something needs to be done about it.
“The Prison Service say they are collaborating with Facebook to take these pages down, but that is not the point.
“Delima should be punished for this and there should be a clear statement released which says this will be taken into account when he comes before a parole board.
“He’s clearly not penitent or remorseful at all and has no regard to the grief and suffering he has caused Mr Witherall’s family. He should be made to serve extra years in prison.”
