A 65-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of taking inappropriate pictures of schoolgirls on a train.

The man, from Whitstable, was detained on Monday by officers on suspicion of outraging public decency.

The alleged offence was reported to police on the 16.39 Whitstable and Tankerton to London Victoria service.

The man has been bailed, pending further inquiries.
