A woman thought to have collapsed in Canterbury high street last night has died.

Police were called to help ambulance crews at 6.09pm, with witnesses reporting four police cars, a fire engine and ambulance in attendance.

Some said paramedics were seen trying to resuscitate her.

The woman later died, but her death is not being treated as suspicious.
