A woman has been taken to hospital after a two-car crash.
Emergency services are in attendance following the collision between Pedding Lane and Beaute Lane in Wingham, near Canterbury.
The A257 has been closed for two hours and traffic is queuing due to the incident. Police, fire crews and paramedics are said to be in attendance.
The woman was taken to a local hospital and her injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Stagecoach has been forced to divert some of its services due to the incident.
A spokesperson said on X: “Due to a crash on the A257 at Shatterling our 43 services are diverting via Guilton Corner and Staple to Wingham.
“If you are boarding at Wingham please wait at the Church bus stops.
“We have been informed that this road has now been closed by the Police.”
Emergency services have been contacted for further details.
