ONE of Britain’s best known classical conductors will present a programme of music at Canterbury Cathedral to help save the historic site.

Founder and conductor of the world-famous Sixteen choir Harry Christophers will bring his troupe to the city on Monday, December 10, for a one-off concert in aid of the £50million Save Canterbury Cathedral campaign.

A former Canterbury Cathedral chorister, Mr Christophers, 53, is best known as the founder of The Sixteen, a Brit award-winning choral aggregation dedicated to unearthing great music from past times and bringing it to modern audiences.
