POLICE are searching for a girl aged between 13 and 15 after a young woman was punched in the face after leaving a cinema.

The 20-year-old victim was with a friend when she was first approached by the girl and a younger boy in the subway under Upper Bridge Street, Canterbury, just before 10pm on Sunday.

The girl then caught up with the woman in Sturry Road, before pushing her over and punching her, causing injuries to her mouth and eye.

The offender had light brown hair tied back and was wearing tracksuit bottoms and a light grey jumper.
