Dozens of people have been sharing pictures of tonight's stunning sunset on social media.

Pop star Tracey Thorn - former singer in Everything But The Girl - was among those taking part, posting an image from Whitstable on Twitter.

'Whitstable gives good sky,' she told her 70,000 followers.
