Bookies fancy Spitfires to retain title

KENT Spitfires have been installed as short-priced favourites to retain their Norwich Union League title this summer.
The Spitfires, who will again be skippered by former England one-day international Matthew Fleming, have been made 4/1 favourites by leading bookmakers Corals. The side Spitfires beat to clinch the 2001 title, Warwickshire, have been made joint 4/1 favourites to prevent Kent from becoming back-to-back champions.
Corals are offering slightly more attractive prices on Kent's challenge for the Frizzell County Championship and the final year of the Benson & Hedges Cup. David Fulton's side are 12-1 to lift the four-day crown, while Corals have make Kent 9-1 outsiders to win a fourth B&H Cup title behind favourites Surrey.
