Carlos Brathwaite has agreed to stay at Kent for a fifth Vitality Blast match.

The West Indies T20 skipper was initially due to play the first four matches of the competition with the clash with Hampshire at Beckenham on Friday scheduled to be his last appearance.

However, after receiving permission from Cricket West Indies, he will be available for Kent's match with Surrey at The Spitfire Ground next Friday (July 20).

The 29-year-old is the Spitfires' leading wicket-take of the Vitality Blast with eight in three matches.

Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis will replace Brathwaite following the Surrey match and is due to make his Kent debut in the match with Sussex on Friday, July 27, at The Spitfire Ground.
