Kent all-rounder Jaydn Denly in 14-strong England under-19s squad for two-game Test series against Sri Lanka alongside sons of Andrew Flintoff and Michael Vaughan

Teenage Kent all-rounder Jaydn Denly has been selected for England’s under-19s Youth Test squad for their two-match series against Sri Lanka - alongside some familiar names.
Whitstable’s Denly, 18, the nephew of Kent team-mate Joe Denly, has been picked for the series which begins on Monday at Wormsley before the second Youth Test at Cheltenham from Tuesday, July 16.
Also in the squad are Rocky Flintoff - former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff’s son - and Archie Vaughan, who is the son of another ex-England Test captain in Michael Vaughan.
Captain Hamza Shaikh, Farhan Ahmed and Eddie Jack will feature for the FCC Select XI against the West Indies at the County Ground, Beckenham, in a three-day match from tomorrow beforehand.
On social media, Kent batting coach Toby Radford wrote: “Top work @jaydndenly123 - well deserved.”
