Kent vice-captain Joe Denly is poised to make his England Test debut.
The 32-year-old has been named in England's 12-man squad for the second Test as a replacement for Keaton Jennings and is expected to open in Antigua.
Jennings has been left out after scores of 17 and 14 in the first Test, which England lost by 381 runs in Barbados.
England have also brought in fast bowler Stuart Broad, with spinner Adil Rashid dropping out for the Test which starts on Thursday.
Denly made 12 and took 1-26 in the warm-up game against the West Indies Cricket Board at Cave Hill.
The Kent all-rounder has played nine international ODIs and six T20 games, the last of which was against Sri Lanka in Colombo earlier this winter when he made 20.
His last England ODI appearance came in October, 2009.
Denly will become the 690th player to be capped by England.
