Before the close of play on day one, Henry took his sixth wicket of the match to get South African batsman Aiden Markram out without troubling the scorers for the second time on the same day.

Quick early wickets at the start of day two saw Durham fall to 39-7 but they recovered to post 170 and leave Kent needing 93 to win. Matt Henry claimed another seven wickets in the second innings, finishing with career best innings figures of 7-45.

Kent chased down the runs with nine wickets to spare, Daniel Bell-Drummond (45 not out) and Heino Kuhn (36 not out) seeing the visitors home.
