Kent have announced their women team's newly-formed London Championship campaign will get under way this week.

Their first match tomorrow (Thursday) will see them play Surrey at The Nevill Ground, Tunbridge Wells, with a 10.30am start time.

After playing Surrey at The Nevill, the Horses will welcome Essex to The Mote Cricket Club in Maidstone on August 6 and then they will play Middlesex at London's Mill Hill School on August 22.

Entry is free for spectators at each venue but they must adhere to each venue’s coronavirus procedures.

It comes as the men's side continue their preparations ahead of the start of their first competitive fixture of the shortened 2020 domestic campaign which will see Kent face Essex in the Bob Willis Trophy, with the game starting on Saturday.
