Australia eased into training in Canterbury on Wednesday ahead of the first match of their Ashes tour against Kent at the Spitfire Ground, St Lawrence, starting on Thursday.

Captain Michael Clarke’s world champions went through their paces in the morning and there were plenty of smiles as they signed autographs and posed for photos with fans at the end of the session.

You can be sure the tourists won't be so friendly to Jimmy Adams' side when the four-day game starts at 11am - there is a game of cricket to be won!
