Jordan Cox struck a quickfire century as a combined Kent and Sussex second team beat Middlesex in Thursday's 50 over one day friendly.
The academy graduate, who signed his first professional contract in October, fired a six and 13 fours on his way towards 123 runs from just 127 balls.
His ton spearheaded the mixed side to 379-8 in their allotted overs before Middlesex were dismissed for 232 all out after just 35.4 overs.
It marks another meaningful stride for the 18-year-old following an impressive 2018 in which he was awarded player of the tournament for his role in the London and East team's win at the ECB Super-4s T20 competition.
Having asserted himself as a prominent figure in Kent's second eleven, he also went on to earn his first England cap during the under-19s' tour of Bangladesh earlier this year.
Cox's efforts followed on from Adam Rouse's unbeaten century during the Kent/Sussex second team's three day friendly against Middlesex.
The wicketkeeper's performance proved timely on the back of 20-year-old Ollie Robinson earning the gloves ahead of him for the first team's Division 1 opener against Somerset.
All-rounder Calum Haggett also scored 90 to help his side on their way to an eight wicket victory at Blackstone Academy Ground.
Kent's second team are due to face MCC Young Cricketers in the first game of their 50-over Trophy competition on Monday.
