Head coach Matt Walker believes Kent’s win over Warwickshire proves they are not fazed by any situation.
Kent registered their first County Championship top flight victory since 2010 on Sunday when they recorded an eight-wicket success at Edgbaston.
Having declared on 504-9 and forced the hosts to follow on, Kent’s persistence was tested by a victory-prolonging eighth-wicket partnership of 144 between Tim Ambrose (107) and Henry Brookes (84).

Matt Milnes then removed both to set up victory and Walker said: “Last year we did it so many times, different situations to this, but games like Derbyshire away where we had to keep plugging away.
“There is this belief starting to swell in the team that we can get through any situation, it’s not always going to happen, we saw that last week, but there is such a determination with the ball in hand.”
Kent launched their Royal London One-Day Cup campaign with a 90-run defeat to holders Hampshire at Canterbury on Wednesday.
Three more games follow in five days and Walker admits they may well look to rotate their team.
He added: “How the competition pans out we’ll wait and see, we’ve got a good thing going in 50 overs. We’ll miss Joe (Denly) and Sam (Billings), but there will be opportunity for others."
Kent face Somerset at Taunton on Friday and Sussex at Beckenham on Sunday (start 11am) before returning west to play Gloucestershire at Bristol on Tuesday.
